I made this cake for a pastor’s birthday. It is a copy of his personal Bible (see real Bible a few pics later). It is a 9×13 2 layer marble cake with buttercream icing and decorations. The “bookmark” is ribbon.

Here is the spine of the Bible.

This is the actual Bible I copied. The client requested I add the writing on the cover.

I made these Easter basket cupcakes for a dessert auction at my church.  They are funfetti cake iced with buttercream icing.  Then I dipped them in various sugars or sprinkles.  They are topped with assorted Easter candy as the basket fillings.  Then, the basket handle is a Twizzler.

This is a close up view of one of the cupcakes.

This is a cake I made for my church’s women’s Bible study class.  We had just finished studying Beth Moore’s Stepping Up.  I decorated the cake to look like the book’s cover.  It is an 8-inch round cake with 2 layers.  It is iced and decorated with buttercream icing.  The sandals on the top are made with fondant.

Bible Cake

This is a cake I decorated for my husband’s grandfather.  He is a pastor, so I decided to make a Bible.  I just used a normal 9 x 13 shaped pan.  All of the icing is buttercream, and the bookmark is a piece of a ribbon.
